Changin my Profession - Guild Wars Forums

I have a monk, that I started in Tyria, and now I'm in Nightfall (I don't complete all the missions in Tyria), and I got to the SunSpear Sanctuary, and I really needed to change my second profession, but If I talk to the NPC where I can change my profession he says: You must be Asceded or Closer to the Stars, then I friend of mine said that Closer to the stars is a quest, so I did that quest (in Factions) and went back to the prof. changer but still he keeps saying the same

Could you guys please help me
